Reviews! "Please
accept our heartfelt appreciation for your outstanding service at the
Young Adults Conference. It was a joy having you on the team...Thanks
for your uplifting ministry. You are a gifted couple." This
is what I have to say about Joe and Jean Ann..."Nemo dat quod non habit."-
"you cannot give what you don't have." Jean Ann and Joe have Christ and
He has them. This is what they radiate to all who experience them. In
word and deed, they bring Jesus Christ to us. "...Seeing
you together, what struck me was your love of each other and of our Lord!
Many times people meet me, and thank me for saying yes to God's call.
I want to take this time to thank you for saying yes to God's call! May
God continue to bless your marriage and ministry, in my daily prayers
both remain!" "...their
music is rich, diverse, and does what all good sacred music should...bring
the listener into a deeper awareness of the presence of God. Both Joe
and Jean Ann are extremely entertaining and yet so spiritual in their
approach that they bring you beyond themselves to an experience of God.
The teaching and message found within their music is solidly rooted in
our rich catholic tradition. With a quiet holy hour on Wednesday to an
upbeat youth concert the on Thursday, they had the ability to minister
to all ages in a profound way." "We
wanted to let you know we are thinking of you and loving you from Florida!
We had so many great comments on you being with us at the (1999) Families
For Christ retreat. We hope you will come be with us again!" |
Joe
and Jeanne Ann have truly become part of our parish family here at Mary
Immaculate. Our youth look forward to them coming back each year and their
"Holy Hour" presentations are anticipated by young and old alike. Their
ministry is one of love and relationships, not just music. Through their
example, they continue to teach us to recognize our gifts and use them
to glorify our God! Dear
Jean Ann and Joe: Thank you for coming to our High School again. The first
time you came (spring 97) I was going through alot. I was really unhappy
and I really had no relationship with God. When I heard you two sing together,
something touched me. You gave me a tape, and I listened to it when I
started getting down. When I would ride my bike I would listen to the
words very carefully. My bike ride stopped being a long and horrible workout,
and became my time with God to realize His beauty in the world. For the
first time in a while, I felt His presence. I started going to mass, and
to Eucharistic Adoration. Your music was my inspiration. Things got better,
but I kinda lost that close relationship. I still prayed, but I started
to lose that closeness. Coming back to our school today reminded me of
that relationship. Thank You for giving up your life to try and touch
others. "Once
again I want to thank you for your vibrant witness to our students! Your
concert was the perfect compliment to our study of Revelation; a joyful
affirmation of our Faith and God's great love for each of us. We look
forward to your return. Any openings in your calendar for may? The children
would love another Marian Concert! May God bless and continue to multiply
your efforts!" |
